I've used the spx stuff live, but I've mostly used it for drum reverbs so far. I'll have to try to get one (or a couple) on ebay.
Yeah, I have read about using filters to only "chorusize" for some shine and not muddy up.

It seems people here likes the UAD Dimension D, but I don't like that when you actually buy plugins you just have a very limited number of instances on a card.

I'm sure the Re-501/301's are cool, but they're mono right?

There's an old thread here where Thrillfactor says he had found a chorus that smoked the Dimension D for bass, but he would probably not tell it because of evilbay prices tutt
