Nobody in Atlanta hip-hop/r&b is still using tape. Most studios down here don't even have consoles anymore. Most rooms down here got pthd and a control 24. Nitti's drums most likely bang like that because of the mix-engineer. Most of his stuff sounds like waves r-bass or maxx-bass to me.
