wasnt sure from your post if midi was new to you.
so i pointed to the obvious basic set up stuff.
assuming the midi data stream is going from the midi out
of the mbox to triton midi in...it might be something the triton end ??
wait....is the mbox set up in win as the default device. ?
wild shot in the dark...might be totally wrong.....
mebe midi out is going to the internal midi synth on the compaq pc on board sound chip...
the MS cheesy synth ? instead of to mbox midi out ??
i'm not sure its a win issue. tho.
cos u had it working with live u said.
if it was a win problem live wouldnt work.
nah i bet its not related to a modem.
