I was ALL about Pitch Doctor since about 1999 and stayed with it until just a few years ago. It still sounds pretty good and it's formant correction was years ahead of Autotune. (Is Autotune formant corrected even now?)
But Waves Tune and Melodyne are just in another league IMHO. I think you really need both to be totally covered - there's things that they both do better than each other.
