Several years ago in a recording forum someone posted asking for technical advice. It was something like:
I've got a problem with my microphone and was wondering if anyone here could help me. My friends and I will drive by some girls and say into the mic "Hey good lookin', we'll be back to pick you up later!", but when we do come back later, the girls are never there. What gives??
