I have been talking it over with my fiance and that's what I figured; Calgary has room for mid level project studios. I was thinking of doing a "go to you" type service, but I need to make a couple small upgrades to my portable rig (some new pres, new converters). Down the road I hope to build my own space (I got the a-ok from the wife to be!
), but between times I want to get some more experience. Just curious, have you/do you work at any of the studios in town? I already have a full time job, but my work is in the media already and I'm thinking I could slowly phase myself into the audio side of things (as opposed to video production). I'm just wondering how to get into this market!?
