Yep I did the same, got a great price trade-in on mine.
I went to the Mac Pro as well and the only thing that held me back was the UAD-1 card!
Do I miss it, sort of!
I hated running out of room on the card!
I know, I know, some will say I'm nuts but I went with the Waves SSL and Ir and I don't miss the UAD-1 at all!
Might get me the API plugs for Christmas!
Mostly was having the ability to use lot's of the plugs on a session.
I can use more then I need now with the Mac Pro.
x's a 1000 for not running out of CPU (Goes for the Uad as well).
For me to consider that purchase again, UA would have to offer a pcie card with the power of 6 UAD-1's in 1 for $1000.
Doubt that'll happen anytime soon.
