the double trigger issue is the best thing about playing mpc's "live". if i didn't have that, i couldnt do any double kick drum beats or ghost rolls. i have an mpc4000 (and pads the are NOT individual) so i presume this issue is the same across the product line. once you learn how to avoid double triggering, its actually a good thing imo.
