 Vocal Pre for live shows
Hey i am recently the permanent live engineer for a great up and coming act called Civil Twilight.
Now the vocalist is good but he has a pretty sharp voice, kind of a similar tone to Thom York (but only if i have to compare).
I am looking for a not to expensive mic pre and/or compressor to help smooth it out. Has anyone got suggestions?
Has anybody used any of Malcolm Toft's compressors. What you think?
