<$500- definitely Sterling Audio ST-77- you can probably get one for about $400 at GC if you haggle, and it is an AMAZING mic. Can't beat it for <$1k, IMO.
<$300- AT4040. very decent mic.
<$100- MXL V67 decent mic. Maybe the best in price range
The Shure SM7 is a great vocal mic for about $350, but I don't know about acoustic instruments. |
