Yes, a lot of work goes into the mastering room to be something special, but we'll see when it's finished.
Regarding the Edit room - It's going to be used for recording and editing of audio books mainly, maybe some post production for mastering as well. It wasn't designed for critical mixing, but I'm sure WSDG will include propper acoustic treatment, so that the rear walls will not be an issue. Our main focus here is to have a workable room while leaving enough space for the lounge (which will include a small bar for client comfort). A more conventional shape would have eaten up too much room...
