I don't think impedence has anything to do with this. The issue is connecting the balanced outs of the Pacifica into the unbalanced inputs of the RNC. Both of these peices run at +4, so with the right cables it's not an issue. The FMR site recommeneds Hossa xlr to unbalanced TS cables, which you can find very easily. I use these cables to hook my Hamptone JFET to my RNC and have never had any problems.

According to FMR, the fact that the Pacifica is transformer balanced allows this to work without compromise. They recomend using differenent cables for servo and electrically balanced gear.
