Well I didn't exactly say his creativity waned so don't put words in my mouth
But I guess Im one who believes you can be creative and predictable
at the same time.
I think it would be hard to make an argument that John wrote as many great
songs after 1970 than he did before. I think every song he wrote as a beatle was great
Not sure if you can say that post 1970. But he had some moments of greatness.
I think if he hadn't been so preoccupied with being a war activist and yoko
he would have written better stuff as a whole i nthe 70's
