I do mainly Dance music ITB (q6600 pc running Cubase)...

A Preamp, EQ and A-D converter is mighty Tempting...

It goes for 1695.00..

Thoughts?

I mainly Track Bass DI, Vocals , and Keys...

I was thinking of adding a LA-2a on the insert as well..

Thanks 4 your Input..

ps my alternative is a 2 ch Dan Alexander and NO eq and no A D...

Not sure about this unit but ssl pres in general sound great. If you want a huge focused tight and clean sound ssl's work great.

Personally I love the sound of most 70's records but I also love the sound of
many 80's records. 75% of which I bet were done on ssl's and probably 90% of them mixed on one too

They sound great
