I have been looking at pic's on the net of both the v4 and v4b...there is another difference i have noticed which is the v4B bass knob some sort of low or high pass filter switch on top of it (like the treble and midrange) on the bass... and someone told me on THE GEAR PAGE that the gain structures are a touch different between the two...

guess i'll wait for a nice v4b to pop up.. and if it doesnt already have it put 6550 tubes in for more headroom.

All the Gemini I's currently on their are too expensive... i missed one the other day by $2 ... it went for just over $300 US..
