I'm getting my room set up for surround (WIP):

Currently there's 14 speakers in this tiny room [6.1 + 2] connected via M-Audio Firewire 410 (s/pdif and/or 8 analogue outs) and Yamaha HTR-5940 AV receiver:
- Pair Yamaha ns-a637's
- 1 RCA sub (need to upgrade)
- 1 RCA center
- Pair AIWA SX-NA302
- Pair Behringer MS16
- 1 big speaker my dad found (rear center). The only thing I know about it is there's a sticker on the top saying "Django Lives!".
SB Audigy 2 ZS to 4.1 Logitech Z-540's
So if nothing sounds good through any of these speakers, I'm doing something terribly wrong. If anything, it's versatile.
It's still a work in progress. I need to get away from the window & get some better speakers and acoustic treament. Once I get a futon to replace the bed (it's takes up half of this room) I'll place the futon behind the desk & move everything towards the center of the room. I plan on getting some outboard gear as well.
