I have one and I only use it to track drums along with my other Preamps. It's a good preamp, but there are a lot of great preamps out there. I wouldn’t say it has any Mojo; you get out of it, what you put into it. I bought mine used for like 1100 bucks, so that less than 300 per channel. You can actually use it for 4 Mic Pres and 4 Line level signals, even more beneficial for keyboards and the like.

Mine gets very little use, since I don't track drums very often.

I agree, it looks pretty.
