Yes you were right Jay, I had apparently had an old number off of their website they hadn't updated yet.
AND, I have an answer for the original poster, since I have one of those breakout cables sitting right here (I have a bunch of old Sonic gear from around 1995, I even have an original Start Labs writer). I just check continuity...

(the breakout XLR's are not labeled left and right, they're colored red and white)
on the 5 pin connector:
pin 1 is the common ground.
pin 2 is pin 2 on the red XLR
pin 3 is pin 3 on the red XLR
pin 4 is pin 2 on the white XLR
pin 5 is pin 3 on the white XLR
You'll have to figure out which is actually left and right for yourself.
