That's your problem. That combined with maybe a lack of RAM.
There's even a slight chance it could also be your power supply.
As far as plugins are concerned, yo, system drive all the way. Whether it's IDE or SATA/ATA, it's more stable, more consistant, and not as easily affected by other devices like USB or even Firewire is. |
i got a 2.80 ghz with 2 gb of ram running protools 7.3.The plug-in im talkin bout is izotope ozone i heard it's a cpu hog.I have this plug-in on my latest project so when im done eith it i will also be done with ozone and find a more usefull cpu sufficient plug-in.
