Slightly O.T. but I would like to add that the C4 omni is also put to good use as a vocal mic. They are routinely used to record singers for the N.Y. Metropolitan Opera by one Louis Brown of L.Brown recording. In fact, the entire circuit was redesigned last year based on his work with these vocalists.
In terms of SPL handling and transient response, this also bodes well for drums.
