i don't you have to worry about that with rme (at least for pc owners i don't own a mac) cos i have never and i repeat never had any problem with any of the products from rme conserning the software (or hardwar for that matter) all of their products have worked flawlessly from the day that i installed them. at least for me they have just my .02 c
