Hardly... Here's mine, from the early/mid nineties, purchased in Germany. It's also got that extra hole, and the XLR side looks like the fake ones. Just means that the fakers may have taken an older model as an example, an Shure may have changed the design a bit, I would say...
Have you weighed yours? Mine is 321 grams, while the fake ones are considerably lighter.
