Hi,

I've recently bought a NRV10 and am very impressed with it.

Regarding the EQ send, you can select whether the firewire receives a pre or post EQ signal. It is a universal switch, but I doubt there is actually much difference between zeroing the eq and bypassing it.

Recording with it has been great, it's built very well and is small enough to chuck in a backpack.

I have had a few niggling firewire problems caused by my notebook - I advise not using an external USB hard drive with a notebook, common problems with USB/Firewire host IRQ level assignments. But that is an issue with any firewire sound device.

If you've got any specific questions, feel free to ask.
