To make things clear, what I am looking for is not so much venue idea suggestions, but a
direct hook up with a manager or owner of a restaurant (or big studio that wants a lot of engineers through their doors)
Its hard to get a restaurant to agree to separate checks for everyone and to put us in our own area etc.. But on the plus side for them we
will be arriving very early and will totally fill the joint at 7pm. (Also if they get it together with their serving staff, they can sell a
lot of drinks.)
Business there for someone that wants it.
Or a
PR stunt for a studio that wants it!
