Yeah, I figured you weren't being negative. I just thought somebody might read it differently and wanted to clarify the wording. It's all good. Thanks for clarifying this. If you do end up getting some HCL stuff, do share your experiences with the rest of us.

Now that HCL came out with the Velvet I kinda wish instead of the Affinity and Solution I bought 2 Velvets. It would have been virtually the same thing but also would have an EQ. And from what I've read it looks like you can use any component separately. I wouldn't use EQ during tracking but during mixing it might be just the thing. Oh well... For me a summing mixer is the next planned purchase.
