I for one am very excited. Having just moved to a 12" PowerBook as my main composition and recording machine, I need something Firewire-based, period. With no PCMCIA slots on the 12", the other RME stuff is right out, which left me no (high-quality) choices but the Metric Halo, and I like choices
Also, the inclusion of lots of video interfacing makes this very useful for anyone working with video, as I am. Removing the need for a dedicated sync unit to work with video is a nice move...
Anyone wanna take a guess at street price???
