When I have all my analog gear on my room stays warm in winter. In Summer air con is a must, it's expensive to install but cheap to run these days, I just turn mine on between takes or setups.

Probably, I've only used this gear for the past few months so I don't have much time to compare it to.
I keep forgetting how much heat these things put off, especially my mixer and powerbook. Man, I have 2 fans in the control booth. I'm running out of room too while I need more rack space. I'm thinking about chopping out a third of my desk and installing a rack tower....with a fan.
