I use my iPhone with REAL HEADPHONES, not those silly minijack headphones.
I have a minijack to REAL HEADPHONE (i.e. 1/4 inch) adapter, just one of those things I have lying around anyway. The adapter easilly goes into the iPhone's recessed jack, and lets me use REAL HEAPHONES!
