Funny you should mention this. I picked up a Suphraphonic the other day and was just about to replace the snares with some Puresound snares also. I always love the way the really wide snares sound. I will probably sound great. I can't remember the thickness but I have used the 32? and also the 42?'s. It really sounds great. I will do this in a couple of weeks when I can get up to the drum shop.
Also you do need to save the original snares. Not that it makes a world of difference but if you decide to sell it, having it original will be a big plus!!!
