can barely justify the expense... but I want it!

Very exciting and I agree.

I didn't expect to get excited about a hardware reverb ever again, but when I heard it I got all of these kid-in-a-candy-store irrational "I want it!!! I don't care whether it makes sense or not!!" feelings.

We are building a new modestly appointed production-oriented control room (very small upgrade budget: $80k) and now I'm trying to justify putting the Bricasti on the shopping list... $80k is not an extravagant number to outfit a control room, when you consider all of the expenses that go into it. So spending a LOT of dough on a hardware reverb is... maybe not so responsible.

So, yeah, strictly with respect to fiscal responsibility and utility, it's hard to justify the expense in the age of Altiverb, etc. [There are some Altiverb patches that I think are mindblowing.] But still, I think it would make me happy to come to work every day and have the Bricasti as a tool.
