You bet as far as Rev X reverb or VST "wet" monitoring.
As with any mixer or Mic Pre with compression and EQ those are "in-line" and would "Print" to your DAW, However... (this is what's cool with the Advanced Integration with Cubase AI or Cubase)
You can use VST compression and EQ or amp simulation, whatever VST effect you want and monitor it "Live" to the Aux output (headphone Mix) without printing it.
Then once you have recorded it you can use either VST or the n's Compressor EQ or Reverb. You can also print the VSTs if you want There are even more ways to route and record as well.
This "Avanced Integration" thing between Steinberg and Yamaha is pretty cool.
