I'm also very interested in the n12.
I want to use it to record mainly voice and acoustic guitars.
I've taken a brief look at the manual, but I still would like to know this for sure:

Is it possible to use the built-in effects, like compression/EQ/Reverb, only for queing the performers but record all tracks "dry", dus by-passing all effects?
