Reaper is the shit for mixing! I'm sure the MIDI will catch up. Sure, there are some other minor annoyances I have to deal with but the flexible routing and stable operation make up for those! Like the original poster, I'm 2-3 times faster mixing in Reaper than any Steinberg software, mainly b/c of the routing matrix and flexibility. Reaper is not a perfect match for everyone, but it is for me! Every time I have to open an old project in Nuendo I get really pissed off. When I open Reaper I am (almost) always smiling! Anyone on a PC who hasn't checked this program out owes it to themselves to give it a shot!
