SPL has a new product called "Transducer" (model 2601) and they have specs and audio samples on their site. I've loved everything else they make, but this may be new ground for them. Is anyone familiar with this unit or had a chance to try it?

Most of the POD type junk is only usable for full on distortion. I've found NI's Guitar Rig software and pedalboard I/O handles the heavy stuff as well as clean tones and actually provides some convincing amp models without sounding overly gated and effected.
