Hi!
Been searching all over the web the last couple of days looking for info about reverbs/multi-fx and found that I can almost add a small pile of usable boxes for the price of a good comp/eq. By adding some crazy cheap stuff (like Behringer Edison/rev500) and also a more expensive(but not 480-expenisive) unit for long verbs and lead vocals I could make an nice efect-package to cover different bases.

Anyways I´ve been thinking about
Yamaha SPX´s, Rev500, ProR3, Roland SRV-2000/R-880, Dynacord DRP-20, Lexicon 300/200, KT DN780, MXR blue delay, Symetrix 606, Zoom 9010, Ensoniq DP/4+ / DP/pro, Effectron Delays, Eventide h949, Edison, Div plugins(with an outboard predelay like thethrillfactor have mentioned)...

What to get?
Which instruments and what kind of effects do they shine at??

This is what I own:
PCM-60 - Ok for short-medium, grainy stuff
Sony R7 - Just got it so haven´t made up my mind?
Echoplex Ep-2 - Very cool for everything from psychedelic guitars to wobbly vocals and rhodes
I also quite like the CSR plugins for longer/dreamy stuff and TL Space for realistic drumrooms(but not completely happy) and Soundtoys Crystallizer for backwards effect(rocks on piano) I´m doing mostly rock/pop/hip-hop.
