| That's exactly what I've been doing for a while now, but as soon as I turn off the 'video through firewire' i lose the video. No video windows opens. I tried cmd+9, tried it from the menu, tried it from the controller.. nothing. If I import an .mov, the video windows doesn't show up at all.
It's a bug in OSX, happens in FCP as well.
