Ahh yes LapTop006, in theory you are completely correct...

Keep in mind that this truck has been design and built at my field shop.
I have specified every inch of this rig.
There is no way on Earth that I would place three heavy UPSs at the top of the rack without making sure it will be safe enough for travel.
These UPSs are installed in a heavy duty rack with rear support and such.
They are not going anywhere and they have not buckled the rack yet!

Furthermore, if they were going into a portable ATA style case on wheels we would have placed them (the heavest items) at the bottom of the rack.
We don't need any top heavy rack on the road on my watch, so I feel you on that one.

IMO, it comes down to how strong the stationary rack is. It doesn't matter how heavy the item is as long as the rack holding it is stable and strong enough to handle it.

Now, what about those "doors" you were refering to? Please explain. Thanks!
