And you comparing completely different beasts on the sennheiser side:
Yes the 441 is better. And the price ?? Your post is the joke here!

And please name your great vocal mics for 400$ then just saying try them... Not really a useful tip.
No need to get uptight bro, chill please. I used to have two black C3000's and two C1000's. The C1000 sounds a bit nicer on horns and winds than the C3000 MK1, which hi end is very harsh, though it's off axis response is nicer than the C1000.

I sold the C3000's for €200 each and bought two Studio Projects B1's, which sound a whole lot better than the C3000 and cost €100 new.
And I bought an MXL V69 Mogami and an MXL V77, both tube mics (LDC).

I payed €450 for the V69 and the V77 together and both were brand new.
I do have a Neumann M149, but some vocalists prefer the MXL V77 over the M149 because it sounds a tad bigger.

The MD441 is not better than the MD421, I've never said something like that, the MD441 is a better trumpet end sax mic, but I do prefer the MD421 MK1 on trombone for example.

Peace?
