| What kind of sound? Do you want different elements coming from the left and right speakers? Do you want dual mono? Are you trying to place the sound in a space?
There is no such thing as a stereo source. All sources are mono. What stereo allows us to do is create space. Where is the sound in space? Thats why we have two ears. Its for directionality. What kind of space is it? If you think of it that way, it may make your question clearer to you.
