Thomann looks good. If I bought the Tascam TSR-8, how would I work with it? Seen as tape's so expensive is it best to work out the whole track first in your head before puttng anything to tape. I've been thinking of recording synths, samplers to tape then adding more using my sync box to synchronise it with the sequencer. You seem to be just sending the finished tune out to tape, presumably I'd need another type of tape for that. What are the advantages of each method? And what tape should I use for multitracking if I do that? I was thinking of 1/2 inch 8 track.
