I thought Adore had some really good material. It was not a flop by no means. Listen to the track "for martha". That is some great song writing. Yes Chamberlin is the awesome but the Corg is the heart and soul of that band. I would also reccomend "Machina" and the free "Machina II". Corgan's solo album "the future embrace" is very different than the pumpkins stuff but excellant. I hated it the first time i heard it, but i gave it a shot and it grew on me.

Mellon Collie is definately lacking some production. THe mixes are ok but the overall mastering sucks big time. They should for sure remaster.

Losing him back before the Adore days really was their biggest mistake, and I think Corgan would agree.

My biggest problem with Mellon Collie was the inconsistancy of the production. Although the songs were great the mixes often sounded like shitty rehearsal demos.

Can't find my copy of Siamese Dream anywhere... Grrrrr....
