I wouldn't touch an SSP Sonic classic system with a barge pole. Previous workplace ended up with an $80k (Australian) white elephant due to total lack of tech support. Sold for a few hundred including the No Noise.
The Genex I've not used but are good from reports, although then again if you don't need DSD then $10k could go a lot further elsewhere as I'm sure you're asking, yourself.
