No, I don't actually have any of the gear I'm asking about, but I'm still fresh enough to dream of building an ultimate studio, so:

If I, hypothetically, had one of those 8 channel, $10,000 Prism converters, would such a precise device actually benefit from the addition of a clock that--while quite good by all accounts--costs a little more than 1/10th the dinero? Or is that a situation where everything in one of those Prism/Lavry/whatever-other-uber-high-end-converter-you-have units is tailored for the rest of the components inside, and it's best just to leave them to their own devices (no pun intended)?

And honestly, no offense rentedroom, but I'd rather get an objective opinion from one of the other forum posters... I'm pretty sure I already know your opinion on the matter.

And (again) btw, a heading like Big Ben vs. Antelope Audio Isochrone OCX is just asking for marketing hypesters to come crash the discussion party. I mean, for pete's sake, they use the full marketing names, and their each _capitalized_. Or maybe I don't know anything, since this is my first post, and I should just shut up.
