I am a little confused though by the article. At first it comes off like the completed record was done completely in garageband, then on the 2nd page it says that some of the tracks for the final studio mix were lifted from his garagband records, so obviously it was just the demo, which we don't get to hear, that was recorded in garageband. But then on the right hand side the credits for the EP are listing only him recording/producing/mixing in garageband... I just want to know if thats what I am listening to if I play this record! Can't seem to find a straight answer.
Anyway, its sound pretty good either way, I listened to the clips on iTunes. http://www.apple.com/pro/profiles/hest/ |
Go to i-Tunes and listen to the Green Room Sessions lp. that's his GB demo. Then listen to the subsequent Columbia full release the Break In, not recorded in Garage Band,, which includes remakes of two songs from the ep.
