The cheapest would be to find the hypercard version of the old M150 lav mic that Lectrosonics used to sell with its wireless transmitters. Countryman (I think) still makes some directional lavs. You need to be very careful how you mount them,--headturns become a big issue. The edge you get with a directional lav orver an omni is pretty small, really.
