You will be so glad you did! A King's X live show is something special. Great songs, great musicanship, great sound, and the friendliest, nicest fans. And when you get a whole bunch of musicians and music-geeks together in one room, singalongs (especially Goldilocks!) are wicked cool.
3-part harmonies coming from the audience? Yep. Awesome.
Even their "bad" shows, should you catch one, are great shows. I saw a show in Brooklyn on the Manic Moonlight tour (fall 2002 I think?) that the guys would consider "bad." Doug was having lots of trouble with his in-ears, and was getting seriously pissed off. Plus the show started at like 1 am, even though doors opened at 8.
Anyways, point is that Doug poured all his frustration at everything going wrong into his performance, and sang a version of "What Is This?" that was truly frightening. I am glad I saw that show, just for that. And Cigarettes.
I hope you catch a great show. They're even better.
