The wait list isn't just long for the Wagner, it's ********. I think it's like 6 months to a year.
In fact, this thread just made me search my emails to find my last correspondance with Wagner Microphones. We exchanged several emails back and forth and he mentioned I would be absolutely added to the wait list and be notified when my turn had come up to put a deposit on the mic and be ready to receive it.
THAT WAS ONE YEAR AGO THIS WEEK! So whatever. The term 'vaporware' comes to mind almost. I mean, yes there's a handful of people in the world the actually have a Wagner 47, but you're simply never ever going to get the thing.
At least the Wunder is obtainable on a reasonable timescale, and with the GT coming out there's much to be excited about. Having heard the CM7 in person at my studio, I can say as others have said that it is a great mic. I think it's really pushing it at that price point, but Mike did explain the many reasons why it costs that much, and why the GT will basically be real close for alot less money. So Mike at Wunder, whenever the GT is ready come on back and lets hear em again!
