I believe it was KKR + another that purchased Harman.

Equity Investment (or the other way around?).

No, they don't know anything about consumer or pro audio.
Nor should they have to.
Nor should the top of Harman.

That's not their job.

The good news is that they didn't sell to liquidators, they didn't sell
to jerkface hedge-fund bozos, and they didn't sell to a competitor.

So, they'll probably be in business, because that's how KKR makes it's money.
They use other person's monies to buy companies, fix 'em up, and share the profits.

If Harman was taken over by shareholders.....then I'd worry.

Otherwise, the intentions are going to remain the same.

How they get there, I wouldn't assume.
