I own all three.
all have a cool vibe all their own and are amazingly great tools.
The SH seems to
always win on the mixbuss tryouts
and great for tracking.
77's and JD switch around from drums,bass,vocals,etc.
no hard fast rules.whatever sounds good on the day.
