thanks guys, i just uploaded 10 songs to virb.com..... (see sig.)
i don't know if there is no compression going on there though....
the files do sound re-compressed to me, but i will have to listen carefully again.

theblue1, i will check out those other sites and try them out.
i do have a Broadjam page but no-one seems to go there (to Broadjam) other than musicians; we'll see how virb works out!
